This position is based at our Myers Controlled Power factory in North Canton, Ohio.
Job Purpose
Produce electrical drawings including bill of materials.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Develop electrical drawings per industry standards and specifications.
· Release approved drawings and bill of materials to production.
· Revise drawing packages per customer comments and re-submit for approval.
· Support production during assembly/wiring process.
· Create electrical bill of materials and log data in manufacturing data base.
· Ensure project meets requirements of any existing equipment.
· Maintain clean and safe work area.
· All duties assigned by your immediate supervisor and/or management.
· Responsible for understanding and executing Company goals and objectives while actively contributing to the cohesiveness of the team.
Qualifications
· Education
o 4-year Bachelor’s in Engineering or minimum 4 years of medium voltage experience.
· Experience
o Medium voltage experience.
o Wiring design
o Drafting experience
· Specialized knowledge
o National Electrical Code (NEC), Utility Electric Service Requirements (ESR), ANSI, UL, CA Title 24, State Seal process.
