Project Manager (Chicago, IL)

• Pay Rate: $75.00/hour (Can be higher based on experience)
• Shift: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (1 hour lunch) Monday-Friday
• Temporary 5-month contract position with potential for full-time

ADM Investor Services, Inc. is looking for an experienced project manager to join our team. Our key projects include financial reporting, customer portals, trade entry/routing, risk/margining and departmental automation. We have a strong team that works well together and has a history of providing the best platforms for our users. If you enjoy the pace of financial services and understand what it takes to manage and drive projects to completion, this is the place for you. This position can follow a hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities

• Schedule development, track timelines, milestones and critical data paths
• Assist with scope definition, financial justification, vendor selection including RFP generation and review
• Manage scope, issues and risks to ensure project objectives are met
• Provide regular, accurate status reports and other communication to management & team members
• Maintain a positive relationship with stakeholders
• Gather customer requirements and create high-level component level architecture solutions
• Schedule and lead project meetings with appropriate business and IT personnel
• Manage multiple projects across various departments and interacting with a range of internal and external resources and stakeholders
• Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
• Provide project updates and status reports on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress

Qualifications

• 4-year degree
• 3 to 5 years of experience in Project Management and the ability to lead complex projects that involve more than one business unit, third party vendor or IT team
• Demonstrated ability to consistently complete work projects within specified deadlines
• Work experience managing projects in the financial services industry - futures clearing business preferred
• Knowledge of futures industry back office systems preferred
• In-depth understanding of IT functions and their relationships with business requirements and needs
• Demonstrated technical and team leadership skills capable of managing a team to accomplish assigned projects
• Successful completion of a pre-employment background check required.
