Position: Provider Relations Representative
Location: Remote - Must be local to Tulsa, OK
Hours: Monday-Friday 8-5
Pay: $21/hr

Responsibilities

• Interacting with providers - establish and maintain those relationships
• As they become providers in HMO network they are the liaison between the providers and the health plan - could be if they need a copy of contract or need to know when credentialing is up etc.
• when an email is sent to them in puts a ticket in a queue - they are assigned for responses
• Determining if they have enough providers for each specialty in each market - if not making outbound calls to engage providers into their health plan
• Research to make sure that systems are correct - if a provider has left a group, validate information
• Make sure all member facing information reflect the correct information
• Periodically go out to meeting with physicians' offices - share some educational pieces

• 1+ year experience as Provider Relations Rep or working in a providers office in insurance verification, billing, or Office Management
• Strong working knowledge of health plans
• Strong communication skills
