Essential Duties:

• The assistance of equipment rig up and rig down on each well under the guidance of the Senior Operator / Supervisor.
• To prepare and operate the well testing equipment including shutdown systems, switchgear, generators & compressors, manifolds, sand separators, test separators, etc. ensuring that all procedures are followed in accordance with the safety precautions and practices required and that equipment is operated within its limitations.
• To ensure that the servicing and preventative maintenance is carried out and that equipment is ready and available for use as required.
• To ensure that all power systems (motors), lighting systems and cables are used correctly and maintained in a safe working condition.
• To ensure that visual operating checks are carried out, as well as the correct operating procedures performed on all equipment and systems, as per industry standard recommendations, including safe compliance.
• To discuss all relevant repair / maintenance actions with the Supervisor for their reporting duties and system utilization records.
• To assist the Senior Operator as assigned and be able to substitute for him as needed.
• Other roles and responsibilities during contractual activities on TETRA projects include, but are not limited to the following:
• Promotes safety awareness and environmental consciousness and complies with all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations.
• Ensures compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and guidelines.
• Promotes and takes an active part in the Quality Improvement Process.

Requirements:

• Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma
• Computer Skills
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office 2007 or greater.
• Certificates and Licenses
  • Typically, two to three year as a well test trainee.
  • Completion of Intermediate Well Testing training school.
• Language Skills
  • Spoken and written English. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedural manuals.
  • Bilingual is helpful but not required
• Mathematical Skills
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
• Pass the required physical examination and drug screen. MVR screen must comply with Company policy.
