The Admiral is seeking to hire a Public Area Attendant to join our Clean Team! We are currently looking for Full Time or Part Time team members.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the Lobby as well as all event areas. Ensure all guest restrooms are clean and stocked throughout the day. Ensuring hotel’s standards of cleanliness.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
- Arrive at scheduled time with a positive attitude.
- Come to work in a clean pressed uniform and name tag.
- Clean public and employee restrooms.
- Stock restrooms with toiletries and cleaning supplies.
- Clean lobby and lounge area, windows and event rooms.
- Sweep and mop throughout the hotel.
- Vacuum all carpets as well as event rooms.
- Maintain the cleanliness of guest and employee elevators.
- Empty trash around hotel property at least 3 times a day.
- Empty ashtrays.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
None
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: At least 1 years experience in housekeeping
Skills:
- Ability to communicate with guests, co-workers and management to their understanding.
- Ability to exert physical effort in using cleaning equipment.
- Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Keep all public areas clean.
- Must be visible in the lobby at all times.
- Must have the ability to multi-task and perform well under stressful circumstances.
- Friendly and helpful attitude.

Cleaning, stocking and pulling trash in the lobby.
Equipment to Be Used: Broom, dust pan, mop, squeegee, vacuum cleaner.
Physical & Mental Requirements:
- Able to stand
- Able to squat
- Able to push and pull
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25-30 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance.
- Able to comply with policies, procedures and codes of ethics
Work Environment:
- Work generally performed in the lobby maintaining the cleanliness of restrooms and lounge areas.
