Duties and Responsibilities:

Test new product software applications, determine and remove software defects. Help customer service through call escalation and conduct training.
Oversee customer sites to detect functional software defects.
Support product documentation through technical support and edit user manuals.
Review reports for accuracy and determine discrepancies.
Create test plans and schedules.
Edit and support product configuration documentation.
Create and implement test cases on project requirements.
Report defects and escalate issues.
Interact team throughout development process.
Troubleshoot new builds and post production issues.
Lead projects and mentor junior team members.
Work with software Testers, Designers and Developers on Agile product teams.
Follow and analyze issues gathered in bug tracking system.
Lead testing efforts for large and complex applications.

Required:

• 5 - 8 years of experience in QA
• QA Methodology
• Adherence to Process/Standards
• Experience testing on an Agile project is required - must be able to contribute during sprint planning, providing QA estimates, participate in daily standups, etc.
• Requirements Ambiguity Analysis
• Test Scenario Development
• Test Case Development
• Familiar with Various Testing Techniques
• Familiar with Various Test & Defect Management Tools, such as JIRA
• Test Effort Estimation
• Ability to Lead/Mentor Other Team Members, on and offshore
• Advanced Technical Skills
• Able to Offer Recommendations for Process Improvement and Carry Out a Plan to Implement Changes
• Able to Fill the Role of QA Lead as Needed
• Able to work in a faced paced environment often testing across multiple environments at the same time. Must be able to successfully multi task

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $65.00 - $70.00 per hour
