Krispy Kremes QA Supervisor is responsible for carrying out established quality programs for the Krispy Kreme Ivy Mix Manufacturing Operation; responsible for checking all mix production in the mix department and providing detailed documentation of all mix testing, and overseeing the food safety and quality programs in specific production departments within the plant. This role has the overall accountability of ensuring the applicable food safety and quality programs are fully implemented and documented to ensure NCDA regulatory compliance and the production of safe and wholesome products.

HERE'S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Assist in quality assurance and food safety programs in Ivy Mix Plant. This includes HACCP system, regulatory audits, quality systems review process (QSR), standard operating procedures (SOPs), incoming ingredient inspections, product scoring, food safety audits, standardized work instructions and product quality, and routine inspections.
• Develop and maintain systems to assure compliance to all QA requirements including document control and records, specifications, verification, product identification trace and recall, incident management, sanitation, & food safety fundamentals.
• Execute new Quality Assurance programs for continuous improvement of Krispy Kreme Doughnut products and operations.
• Assist in training and maintain all training records for critical SOP and quality requirements. Document and maintain training registry for all employees at the manufacturing site(s).
• Daily testing and documentation of mix produced in the Mix Department.
• Assure facility(s) meets all requirements related to product safety as related to HACCP/FSMA and general employee safety.

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

• Bachelors degree in Microbiology, Chemistry, Food Science, or other Food Science related field preferred.
• Experience with quality, formulation and equipment related to the food industry.
• Baking industry experience preferred.
• HACCP, PCQI, SQF certified or willingness to become certified.
• Ability to analyze processes for biological, chemical, and physical hazards with a thorough understanding of the science and support behind each type of hazard and each step within a production process.
