The Role:
We are seeking a full-time Quality Control and Shipping/ Receiving Associate to join our growing team at our facility in Billerica, MA. We are looking for an energetic individual with a detail-oriented mind.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- Handle all incoming and outgoing materials at our manufacturing facility
- Maintain detailed records of all products received to our facility
- Conduct inspections of product to ensure they conform to specifications
- Verify incoming shipments by scanning barcodes to store information to computers
- Unpacking of shipment deliveries and maintaining shipping documents
- Stocking shelves and maintaining an organized work area
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in shipping and receiving
- Experience using general inspection equipment: tape measure, ruler, micrometers, calipers, gage pins
- Must be willing to perform a variety of duties each day, based on direction from supervisor, to support needs of the business
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Flexible schedule as needed
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
