Quality Control Technician $17.75/hr
1st Shift, Monday-Friday with an occasional Saturday.
A local quality inspection company in Spirit Lake, IA is searching for reliable, motivated, and detail-oriented individuals to join their team as a Containment Technician! This position will work 6:30am-3:00pm, Monday-Friday with an occasional Saturday. Those who have prior experience with de-rusting, grinding, drilling or tapping methods are encouraged to apply!
Responsibilities:
- Performs audits on incoming material using hand gauging and visual techniques to determine conformance to specifications and fitness
- Contains non-conforming parts and/or sub assemblies
- Rectifies non-conforming material by rework, sorting and/or scrapping as directed by Team Leader
- Uses methods such as de-rusting, grinding, drilling, tapping, assembly and/or disassembly to rectify non-conforming material
- Determines the tools and equipment needed to do the job
- Grinds, sands, cleans and oils parts and/or sub-assemblies by using hand tools or equipment
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Reliable vehicle
- Proof of Auto Insurance
- Valid Driver's License
