  • Location: Fort Collins, CO; hybrid/remote option
  • Status: Full-time, 40/hrs. week
This role will be responsible for working alongside the Quality Improvement Manager and Compliance Director to oversee the quality and compliance of programs across the agency and ensure continuous improvement in the quality of Behavioral Health Services. They will understand regulatory requirements and review program adherence to these regulations. In addition, this role supervises the QI specialist(s) in the QI department and demonstrates a commitment to, and provide leadership for, SummitStone Health Partner’s values by delivering visionary and operational leadership while fostering trust, collaboration, and a diverse and inclusive environment

Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Providing direct supervision to QI Specialist(s), a Consumer Advocate, and Data Analyst, and assist with the hiring, coaching, and evaluation of these team members.
  • Participating in planning and reporting the outcomes across programs, grants and projects.
  • Helping develop and report on quality and access measures.
  • Evaluating and assessing reports for level of service, productivity, and capacity planning.
  • Compiling data for reporting and analysis.
  • Documenting standard operating processes and preparing routine reports.
  • Assisting with the development of required policies and procedures.
  • Monitoring auditing by the QI Specialist(s) of client charts for appropriate auditing and feedback to the agency.
  • Auditing programs and/or departments as required.
  • Preparing for and assist QI team with external audits.
  • Coordinating with staff to respond with any required plan of correction.
  • Coordinating critical incident reviews and investigations and report critical incidents as required by regulations.
  • Creating QI plans with assistance from the QI Manager and follow up with action items.
  • Participating in work groups and multi-disciplinary committees throughout the agency to provide input on regulations and reporting.
  • Monitoring QI email and respond to requests for information from staff on a timely basis.

Experiences and Background We Look For:
  • Required: Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, psychology, social work, or related field; 3+ years of experience in leading continuous quality improvement initiatives and supervising employees in a compliance department; 3+ years of experience in healthcare compliance, auditing, and/or quality improvement; Valid Colorado driver's license.
  • Preferred: Previous experience in a behavioral healthcare setting; Bilingual and Bi-cultural.
  • Equivilent experience of education and experience may be considered.
Wage Ranges:
The hiring range for this position is $57,600 - $68,820/year based on relevant experience.
