Our client, located in McGregor requires a Quality Inspector. Candidates must have experience working in a Welding/Manufacturing setting as a quality inspector, with weld test inspection experience. Must have experience using a variety of measuring tools, including calipers, micrometers, tape measures, Filet gauges, Bridge cams, Levels etc. This is a full time, long term position, Monday through Friday, 1st shift. $28/hr
Responsibilities:
- Administer, document, and inspect weld quality and completion to a Weld Procedure (WPS).
- Inspect materials to ensure quality and code compliance of Material Test Reports (MTR).
- Perform lay-out, fit-up, and dimensional verifications in accordance with approved drawings.
- Enter data of pass or fail for determination of quality and reliability expectancy of finished products. (Defect Trackers, Welder Efficiency, Weld Mapping, etc.)
