Our client, provides access to one of the largest sources of contract clinicians, seeks an accomplished Interventional Radiologist.

*** Location: 725 North St., Pittsfield, MA 01201

*** Duration: 3 months contract, ongoing w/ possibility of extensions

Shift:

· Mon - Fri 8:00am – 4:00pm; Sat and Sun 8:00am – 6:00pm.

· No weekday night call.

Description:

· Hospital based setting.

· Average number of cases per day: 10.

· Trauma level: Level 3.

· Documentation System/EMR: Meditech EMR, GE PACS, Powerscribe 360.

· Number of interventional Radiologists in Practice: 1-2.

· Support staff: Pool of 4 IR techs and 10 nurses.

· Do you use Teleradiology: Yes, VRAD overnight coverage; radiologists have home workstations.

· Patient age demographic: Almost exclusively adult patients.

· Interventional procedures required: Nephrostomy, cholecystostomy, abscess drain placement, embolization, needle biopsy, paracentesis, thoracentesis, thyroid FNA, port and dialysis catheter.

· Estimated credentialing timeframe: ASAP (expedited).

Requirements:

· Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible - Required.

· MA License - Required.

· Covid vaccinated - Required.

· Clean background for expedited credentialing - Required.

· ACLS - Required.

· Certification: Board Certified.

· Certification: Board Eligible.

· MA State License.
