Job Location: Orangeburg, SC (with opportunity for partial remote work)

McCall-Thomas Engineering is a multi-faceted engineering firm housing multiple divisions including the Communications Engineering Division, the Electrical Engineering Division, the Electric Utility Service Division, the Electric Field Operations & UAS, as well as the McT Learning Center and Print Services.
As a McCall-Thomas Rates Analyst, you will be performing rate studies and financial analysis for Grants and Loans in conjunction with RUS, ORS, and Federal Agencies. The primary responsibilities for this role include:
- Leading efforts to obtain grants for broadband, EV charging stations and other government grants
- Performing rate studies for electric cooperatives
- Completing lighting rate studies
- Calculating cost of service rates
- Calculating time of use rates
- Completing analysis to compute demand and usage costs.
- Summarizing AMI data
- Performing financial review
- Completing rate class allocations
- Developing updated rate classes
- Performing loan extension analysis
What You Will Need:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Financial experience with an electric utility
- Grant-writing experience
- Valid driver’s license
