We are looking to grow our property management team! This position is for a front desk Receptionist, who would also have some responsibilities as an Assistant Property Manager. This is a great starting point for someone looking to get into property management, as we are a growing company that loves to promote from within. The ideal candidate is someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys interacting with customers/clients in person, on the phone, and via email.

We are a growing customer service oriented property management and leasing company, handling residential buildings in the Amherst-Northampton area and the surrounding towns. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:

- Customer Service: Greet and assist customers in the office, on the phone, and via email.

- Process incoming mail and packages.

- Various administrative tasks involving printing, scanning, mailing, filing, and working with computer reports.

- Answer tenant questions, maintenance requests, and receive rent payments.

- Enter and organize data in our management software (Rent Manager), spreadsheets, and manage and organize paper files. Google Workspace tools are mainly used, with some use of Word and Excel.

- Visit properties for inspections and other tasks.

- Coordinate with vendors and maintenance technicians.

- Communicate with local housing assistance providers.

- Assist Property Managers with daily tasks.

- Assist with planning and preparation for unit turnovers.

HOURS:

Full-time schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, with a half-hour daily lunch break.

REQUIREMENTS:

Experience as a receptionist, administrative assistant, or a similar position.

Comfortable on the phone, answering and making calls to tenants, cosigners, vendors, etc.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Close attention to detail and strong organization and task management skills.

Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus (but not required).
