Job Summary:
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the supply chain of physical refined products related movements including logistics of pipeline, waterborne and storage from origin to destination, as well as terminal inventories and logistics management. This is a fast paced, deadline driven role that requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, risk mindedness and the ability to multi-task.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for scheduling Refined Products from various sources via pipeline, rack, waterborne transportation.
- Resolving quality and quantities with facilities, inspections and counterparties for products purchased and sold.
- Develop and maintain strong professional and courteous relationships with internal and external business groups, including counterparties, Inspection companies, Loss Control companies, Customs Brokers, and Storage Facility personnel.
- Monitor, evaluate, and manage inventory imbalances and transportation losses and provide good communication of status and events to Refined Products desk.
- Assist in the reconciliation of energy volumes pertinent to receipts and deliveries by suppliers, transporters, distributors, and end-users.
- Work closely with accounting to resolve rate and volume discrepancies.
- Provide trading with accurate and timely notice of operational developments including imbalance positions, capacity availability and pipeline operational status.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in business, accounting, economics, or equivalent experience.
- 5-8 years of analytical experience preferably in a related area to have a working knowledge of refine products, contracts, operations and/or accounting.
- Candidate should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills along with a high skill set in Excel.
- Self-starter/responsible for nominations and scheduling.
- Must have a strong working knowledge of Colonial pipeline.
