Qualified candidates are responsible for assisting in development and implementation of practice marketing and business development plans for refractive surgery.

Responsibilities include: patient education about refractive options and assisting in the development and maintenance of our referral network, serves as the refractive surgery point-person to the physicians, ensuring proper communicaton between doctors, management and staff.

Education & Experience: College degree, including business-related courses, (sales/marketing emphasis), preferred. Sales experience preferred.

Essential Skills and Abilities:

Superior communication skills, oral, written and social networking, excellent listening skills, ability to motivate & influence a likeable manner, eager to learn about vision correction and eye care, ability to generate new marketing ideas, effective organization siills, with attention to detail, presents a professional, yet causal image and ability to manage multi projects simultaneously.

Responsibilites: Development: Assist practice MD in development and execution of practice marketing and business plan for refractive surgery; key contact person for all refractive vision inquiries, (including those from patients, physicians & staff members), responsbile for patient education in the community through the use of information tables at health fairs, sporting events and other public awareness. Coordinate open houses and seminars. Develop and monitor internal systems (scheduling new patient tracking, patient correspondence, marketing budget, referral source follow up). Develop and maintain intenal patient database, identify target patients for mailings and telephone calls.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
