Job Brief:

Manages financial aspects of local and regional program offices via company accounting systems. Prepares journal entries, maintains and reconciles ledger accounts. Analyzes financial information and prepares reports for local program and regional review. Distributes expenditures, encumbrances, receipts, and receivables according to schedules. Monitors compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and company procedures. Prepares account statements and reports. Assists in completion of month-end duties. Review, monitor and track adherence to customer contract(s), specific to financial impact associated with deliverable and milestone dates, and all other terms related to local Program Office execution.


Primary Statement of Duties:

  • Compile, review and conduct P&L variance analysis for local Programs as requested by Program Manager and Regional Program Director
  • Track and manage revenue accruals
  • Follow up and the resolution of associated findings and issues
  • Preparation, review and coordination of monthly, quarterly and annual financial related data, and inventory count, for submission to L+G Accounting and Finance departments and SAP
  • Ensure that customer billings are accurate and completed in adherence to existing contracts
  • Assist in the development and use of common financial models and tools for local and regional Program Offices as requested
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
  • Interact with regional Program Managers and Director of Western Region Programs as necessary
  • Review, monitor and track adherence to customer contracts, specific to deliverable and milestone dates, financial impact, and other terms related to local Program Office execution
  • Provide updates as requested to local Program Office team and Director of Western Region Programs as required
  • Actively participate in weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual Program P&L meetings and related activities
  • Create Sales Orders / Customer Billings
  • Review and code AP invoices, maintaining and invoice log per Program
  • Conduct weekly P&L / Risks and Ops review with Program Manager(s), and submit EOM P&L projections to Finance
  • Assist Program Manager(s) with fiscal year budget preparation and reviews
  • Track and maintain financial status of fixed assets
  • Verify all weekly payments, inclusive of but not limited to site leases, customer and subcontractor invoices
  • Cycle count data entry
  • Assist Office Manager with EHS/IMS compliance activities and provide additional backfill support (when needed)
  • Provide customer and subcontractor contract support

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Represent Company in a positive, professional manner when working with both external and internal customers
  • Support and adhere to Company’s Code of Ethics Policy
  • Perform other duties as assigned and required

Project Coordinator:

  • Assist Program Manager(s) as needed with overflow administrative demands

Site Controller:

  • Manage the site month end close process
  • Ensure accurate balances and proper research and analysis of GL account detail
  • Prepare Program(s) consolidated Financial Statements and provide analysis and documentation for fluctuations and variances for each close period.

Education and Experience (include required Certifications, if any):

  • A minimum of bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required in the field of accounting, finance, etc
  • At least 3-5 years of related experience required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong technical accounting proficiency
  • Must have strong ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation
  • Organization skills and attention to detail are critical
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction
  • Ability to collaborate with administrative team
  • Must ensure reporting deadlines are met
  • Strong analytic skills
  • Strong PC skills, including MS Office
  • SAP familiarity and experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing

Pay is in the range of $61,600 - $89,305 per year. The position is eligible for a 401(k) match and consideration for an annual bonus. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, and certifications or other professional licenses held.
