Regional Maintenance Director Job Profile

As a Regional Maintenance Director, you will assist the Asset Management Department with making sure communities are well maintained, safe and secure, while you take pride in providing friendly and passionate services for our residents. Your primary responsibilities will be:

• Performing walkthrough of facilities and performing life safety documentation and visual audits
• Training and mentoring Maintenance Directors assigned to your region
• Following up with vendors to get quotes and track completion of projects
• Completing special technical projects as assigned
• Filling in as a Maintenance Director at communities as needed
• Assisting Maintenance Directors with work orders and tasks as needed to maintain properties
• Traveling at least 50% of the time
• Assisting in maintaining expenses for parts and reviewing all costs with VP Asset Management before making purchases
• Respond to on-call emergencies
• Providing amazing customer service daily with a service-minded demeanor
• Performing other duties as assigned by VP Asset Management

Regional Maintenance Director Job Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as Maintenance Technician, Director or Tradesperson, preferably in a senior living capacity or in an apartment industry
• Broad knowledge of general maintenance: HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry
• Ability to lift a maximum of 50 lbs
• Capability of using various chemicals safely
• Ability to move quickly, safely, and remain calm in case of an emergency
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
