A Day in the Life:
As our dental hygienist, you will be primarily responsible for carrying out all recall and/or comprehensive examinations, assisting the doctor as directed, and confidently communicating to patients the importance for treatment that has been recommended by the doctor. Additionally, your role will include adult and child prophylactic cleanings, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, taking radiographs, administering local anesthesia, and managing the schedule for recall appointments. It will be your responsibility as the lead hygienist to ensure that patient care is provided as efficiently and professionally as possible, helping create a positive experience for patients from the time they step into our office. This position is an integral component of our team approach to providing dental care in an office that involves all facets of dentistry including oral and implant surgery, pedodontics, orthodontics, endodontics, periodontics, cosmetic, and general dentistry. Compensation minimum $50/hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Certified RDH (must be board certified in California)
- Clear understanding and appreciation of asepsis protocol
- Up-to-date BLS training
- Providing passionate, quality-care
- Good interpersonal qualities and effective communication skills
- Team player and multitasking skills
- Basic computer skills
