We are seeking an experienced Dental Hygienist who is an enthusiastic, self-motivated team player and has a proven track record of increasing productivity during the Hygiene experience. Our office is dedicated to increasing patients' knowledge of the benefits of periodontal, restorative, and cosmetic treatment.

Status: Full-time

Monday, Tuesday , Thursday from 8 am to 5 pm with one hour lunch.

Friday from 7: 00 Am to 3:00 pm.

Requirements: Dental Hygienist ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Prepare and properly set up treatment rooms for hygiene procedures.
• Assess and evaluate patients through an exam, patient records, and patient medical history to assist in the diagnosis of dental hygiene problems, disease, and efficacy of administered treatment plans. Complete scheduled treatments.
• Develop and present treatment plans.
• Educate and motivate patients on proper oral hygiene and corrective/preventative measures.
• Work chairside with the Dentist as needed, assist the doctor in hygiene examination.
• Adhere to strict safety guidelines and procedures to OSHA and office standards.
• Represent the practice in a professional, pleasant, and cooperative manner.
• Maintain regular attendance and adhere to assigned work schedule and office policies.
• Always maintain the highest level of confidentiality to HIPAA standards.

Participate in marketing efforts and patient contact.

Use downtime constructively.Flexible and understand that job duty may change from time to time and that this individual may be asked to assist in other areas of the office.Ability to calm and reassure patients facing uncomfortable or painful procedures.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Current State Licensure.
CPR Certification.
Preferred one-year dental experience.
Certified in anesthesia and/or sedation, if appropriate
