Job Description:

• This position is responsible for providing primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses;
• performing required health assessments for specified programs;
• Conducting required screening tests such as drug and alcohol testing spirometry testing or audiometric testing; maintaining OSHA state and employee health records;
• Adhering to the highest standard of confidentiality;
• Participating in plant safety and ergonomic programs;
• Assisting with health promotion education and training programs; identifying and assisting with workers compensation cases;
• Assisting with maintenance and documentation of workers compensation files and performing other duties as assigned.

Education :

• Completion of a registered nursing program required.
• Current unrestricted state license as a Registered Nurse required.

Experience :

• 1 plus years’ experience in the performance of nursing skills relative to occupational health nursing or relevant nursing field preferred.
• Computer Skills: Basic computer skills. Ability to work with an electronic medical documentation system.
• Other Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills and strong problem solving and organizational skills.
