Job title: ICU RN
Location: Charlotte, NC,
Pay: $62.5/hr - $2250 Weekly
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate ICU RN to join our healthcare team in Charlotte, NC. The ICU RN will be responsible for providing exceptional nursing care to critically ill patients in the intensive care unit. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of the nursing process, critical thinking skills, and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate patients' conditions and medical needs
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
- Monitor and interpret patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, and oxygen saturation levels
- Utilize critical thinking skills to prioritize patient care based on medical urgency
- Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to coordinate patient care plan
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
- Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records
- Comply with healthcare policies, procedures, and regulations
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a current license in the state of North Carolina
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum of 2 years ICU nursing experience
- Critical thinking skills and excellent judgment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic Life Support certification (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification (ACLS)
