Job Title: NICU Registered Nurse

Location: Rochester, NY, USA

Salary: $3420 - $3780 weekly (Based of experience)

13 week contract

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced NICU Registered Nurse to join our team in Rochester, NY. In this position, you will be responsible for providing safe, quality care to our patients in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

- Assessing and monitoring newborn infants in the NICU, including vital signs, feeding, and medications.

- Administering medications and treatments as directed by physicians.

- Providing education to parents and families on newborn care, feeding, and other discharge instructions.

- Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans for patients.

- Documenting patient care and maintaining accurate medical records.

- Ensuring that all equipment and supplies are in working order and properly stocked.

- Maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.

- Adhering to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

- Current RN license in NY state.

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a NICU setting.

- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
