Job Description
The primary focus of the NICU RN is to be a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients. The RN collaborates with other care workers to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care across the continuum.

The Moses Taylor campus is located in the Historic Hill Section just East of Downtown Scranton where you will find great local restaurants, a cultural center hosting many cultural events such as (Plays, Musicians and Comedians) and close by to the Scranton/Wilkes Barre RailRiders (NY Yankees AAA Baseball) and Wilkes Barre Penguins (minor league ice hockey affiliate of Pittsburgh Penguins)
As Lackawanna County's first choice for labor and delivery, Moses Taylor is known for its pediatric and neonatal care and was the first hospital in the nation to earn Perinatal Care Certification by The Joint Commission.
We are looking for a NICU RN who will assess the patient, newborn and family needs upon admission and throughout the discharge.
This position is Night Shift. 7p-7:30a (RSWH)
The NICU RN requirements:
- Current license to practice professional nursing issued by the State of Pennsylvania
- Current CPR
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program ( upon completion of orientation)
- STABLE program (within 6 months of hire)
- PALS certification (within 6 months of hire)
- Arrhythmia interpretation (within 2 months of hire)
