Job Title: Operating Room RN
Location: New York, NY
Salary: $4500 - 4720 Weekly ($125- $130/hr)
We are looking for an experienced Operating Room RN to join our team in New York, NY. As an Operating Room RN, you will be responsible for providing quality patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with physicians and surgical team to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care during surgical procedures Monitor patients’ vital signs and administer anesthesia, medications or other treatments as needed Prepare and maintain surgical equipment and instruments Ensure the proper handling and disposal of surgical equipment and hazardous waste Educate patients and families about surgical procedures and post-operative care Document patient care in medical records
Requirements:
- Active RN license in the state of New York Minimum of 2 years of experience in operating room nursing Extensive knowledge of surgical procedures and patient care principles Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team BLS certification
