Helio Health is seeking a
Registered Nurse (RN) for our
Intensive Crisis Stabilization Center (ICSC) in Syracuse, NY. The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide urgent response and/or treatment services to patients experiencing an acute mental health and/or substance use crisis. The ICSC operates on a 24/7 basis providing opportunities for
day, evening, and overnight schedules.
We are offering
extremely competitive starting wages! Nurses are eligible to participate in
Tuition Reimbursement/Loan Forgiveness Programs and are eligible for
Overtime & Shift Differential Pay!
Candidates with
overnight availability are strongly encouraged to apply, and
overnight shift differential is now $4.00/hour!
In addition to Helio Health’s comprehensive benefits package, this position is eligible an
$8,000 Sign-On Incentive!
Responsibilities:
- Monitors clients’ medical status, signs and symptoms of withdrawal and reports to supervisor or medical director.
- Works with other medical staff for continuity of client medical care and communicates with clinical staff regarding clients’ medical concerns.
- Works directly with clients to provide medical services and interpret medical information.
- Provide direct client care of medical examination, implementation of medical orders, treatment of medical conditions and communicable and infectious disease reporting in accordance with the law.
- Develop public health education and screening protocols.
- Provide and document medical consultation, assessment, examination, treatment planning and review consistency with agency policy and requirements.
- Evening/Night availability preferred, shift differentials apply.
- Must be a licensed Registered Nurse currently registered by the New York State Department.
- At least two years of experience, or comparable training in the treatment of substance abuse and/or substance dependency.
