Job Description :
In this role you will work collaboratively with three inhouse attorneys. The overall legal team has 19 members. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a quickly-changing and complex acquisitive environment with 5,600 employees in all 50 states.
  • Provide legal assistance to in-house attorneys
  • Act as liaison between in-house and outside attorneys, as well as third parties and customers
  • Collect and organize data to assist with responses to claims, notices, discovery requests, and subpoenas
  • Conduct legal research and monitor legislation and regulations as requested by in-house attorneys on compliance and legal/regulatory requirements
  • Assist with a variety of employment-related issues.
  • Monitor and report on status of litigation and subpoenas using PowerPoint
  • Identify issues and consult with others to solve problems
  • Perform other legal and operational tasks as required.
Qualifications:
  • Requires paralegal certification or law office experience and knowledge of office automation equipment/software related to activities.
  • Requires time management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced workplace
  • PowerPoint skills required
  • Attention to detail required
  • Prefer experience with eDiscovery
  • Prefer experience as a business litigation paralegal

Compensation depends on the applicable US geographic market. The expected base pay for this position ranges from $27.00 - $34.03 hourly, and will be based on a number of additional factors including skills, experience, and education.
