Replenishment Buyer Job at Ingram Content Group
Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring for a Replenishment Buyer to contribute to our Product Management team in LaVergne, TN just outside Nashville. This is a hybrid position that requires this person to live in the local area.
In this role, this individual will partner with management to maximize profitability through effective use of buying systems and data analysis to acquire product and troubleshoot obstacles. This role has a heavy emphasis on analyzing data, identifying patterns, and making inventory/product recommendations based on data findings. The ideal candidate will enjoy being in a heads-down, repetitious role, and will be very detailed-oriented.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree OR year for year experience
- 1 year experience in either inventory management, publishing or wholesale or retail bookselling.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience using RELEX platform
Key Responsibilities:
- Works closely with content managers and inventory systems team to place replenishment orders with publishers to achieve company goals for fill rate and inventory turns
- Submits reorders in a timely manner based on sales, demand and title history.
- Demonstrates a reasonable understanding of the impact of marketing and media on a title's sales potential.
- Maintains inventory; understands needs of customers; maximizes sell-through while maintaining service levels on titles.
- Collaborates with management for direction concerning critical titles. Ex. award winning, high media profile, etc.
- Utilizes available reports and tools such as iQ and Qlik to analyze key factors to ensure the health of the publisher
- Uses Product systems to manage inventory levels and fill rate through a combination of buying, returns, and DC transfers.
- Meets all deadlines associated with accurate item set-up and ongoing maintenance.
- Drives greater profitability through effective management of stock offers and other incentives.
- Actively and effectively communicates.
- Collaborates with management on critical issues with suppliers.
- Participates as a positive team player within the Product team and the Ingram organization, provides support as a product expert.
