We are seeking a Research Associate to become an integral part of our team! You will assist social scientists in educational research and data analysis.

Experience: 3 Years’ experience in Clinical Research. Must be a competent typist (40wpm).

Summary of Major Function:
The Clinical Research Coordinator completes all clerical duties relating to maintaining the RTOG protocols. Checks patients for protocol eligibility. Reviews inclusion/exclusion criteria for each proposed protocol patient and verifies that the patient has signed the consent. Ensures pre-treatment evaluations are done. Monitors and logs required tests and other related information on patient treatment calendars. Completes all study revisions. Attends IRB meetings with cancer cases diagnosed or treated. The Abstractor assesses the quality control aspects of the new data added to the Cancer. Registry data base to comply with State and National Standards. May perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Gather qualitative and quantitative social science data
• Conduct statistical analysis on research data collected
• Collaborate with others to identify research needs
• Translate complex data into simple textual and visual representations
• Summarize findings into presentations and reports

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in social sciences, educational research, or other related fields
• Familiar with fundamental research practices
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Computer Number of years of experience: 3 years

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Shift Start and End Time: 0800-1700 (1 hr lunch)

Preferred skills:
Bachelor’s Degree in health science related field

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour

• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
