The Clinical Pharmacy Resident is an essential member of the healthcare professional team. You’ll work closely with pharmacists, doctors, physicians and nurses to pioneer programs that drive clinically proven outcomes. Your work will support members from all backgrounds – Medicare, Medicaid, workers’ compensation, public groups and private groups.

This position is currently a full time Hybrid PST position for applicants living or willing to relocate to OR or WA.

Required Skills, Experience & Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, Pharm D. preferred.
  • 5 - 7 years related experience and valid Registered Pharmacist license in the State of Oregon and Washington.
  • Technical understanding of pharmacy claims processing information and systems.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong analytical, verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, work with frequent interruptions and shifting priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate and present complicated and technical information in layman terms.
  • Ability to lead project teams and implement clinical programs.
  • Ability to come into work on time and daily.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and project a professional business image.
Primary Functions :
  • As a Moda Health pharmacy resident, you’ll develop programs by building evidence-based clinical services into these key areas:
    • Formulary management
    • Strategic pharmacy benefit design
    • Utilization management
    • Clinical consultation services
    • Drug therapy management
    • Drug information
    • Medication therapy management
    • Clinical program development
    • Emerging pharmacotherapy assessment
    • Population-based disease and pharmacotherapy management
  • Other duties as assigned
