The Center for Counseling and Growth is seeking 1 motivated and compassionate Resident in Counseling or Resident in MFT to join our friendly and collaborative outpatient counseling team. The ideal professionals will work 35+ (full-time) hours per week providing outpatient mental health counseling services to individuals, couples, and families. This is truly a job of service: to our neighbors who are struggling with mental health issues; to our community; and to our profession. Job responsibilities will include providing outpatient mental health counseling services (individual, couples, family), completing and submitting clinical documentation in a timely manner (via electronic health records), and networking with our community partners.

All applicants must be eligible and intend to apply to the Virginia Board of Counseling as a Licensed Resident in Counseling (LPC) or Licensed Resident in Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT). Since our business is located in Virginia and our clients reside in Virginia, all of our clinicians must be approved by the Virginia Board of Counseling before they may provide on-site clinical mental health counseling services.

In addition, applicants must hold a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or similar degree. Competitive hourly rates (commensurate with experience) and guaranteed bi-weekly minimum pay for full-time clinicians. Free individual and group supervision provided to all Licensed Residents in Counseling to meet Virginia Board licensure requirements. Furnished private office, HIPAA compliant web-based telehealth portal, billing, and scheduling of clients provided at no cost to therapist. No weekend or on-call hours required.
