Aloha! Join our team at the Fernhurst Residence, a womenʻs transitional shelter in Makiki. We work to empower women to transition from prison into the community in a team environment.

The Resident Monitorʻs role is to help provide safety, structure, and support for the residents, staff, and property.

An entry-level position with room for growth. Work in a newly renovated office space with free parking. On the job training is provided as well as certifications in CPR/AED, First Aid, Food Safety Sanitation, and other.

Schedules available:

Shift #1: 5 days/week (10pm-6am)

Shift #2: 5 days/week (combination of 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm)

Essential Duties*:

-greet visitors, guests

-monitors building, grounds, safety

-facilitates all resident sign in and sign-out procedures, light office duties, telephone, answering phones/doors (buzz in), filing, process paperwork, tracking logs

-monitors resident locations

-respond/report emergencies, maintenance, or other incidences with guidance from mgmt.

-perform walk-throughs, resident counts, and u/a screenings

-facilitates 1 meal service during shift

-monitor medications

-occasionally transport residents to various locations

Required:

-Hawaii Driverʻs License (valid)

-Able to type and use the computer
