As a Respiratory Care Practitioner I you will:
- Perform therapeutic and technical procedures that require independent judgment and knowledge of the theory and practice of Respiratory Care.

- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of respiratory therapy
- Successfully passed the Certification examination of the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in the State of Maryland.
- The candidate must successfully complete hospital orientation and departmental based orientation programs and possess and maintain a current BCLS certification.
- ACLS and PALS certification is also required and must be completed within the first year of employment and maintained thereafter.
