Restorative Aide Job at GRAND LAKE VILLA
Our growing organization is seeking a dynamic and flexible Assistant to join our busy team. The ideal candidate is able to anticipate the needs of both management and residents, and is willing to work full-time or part-time depending on the needs of the facility. This position requires providing assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing and grooming residents, administering medications, and cooking healthy meals.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the medical teams providing care to patients.
- Monitor, record and communicate changes in patient's condition and respond as appropriate to the needs of the patient and family.
- Prepare rooms, supply cabinets, and equipment; transport equipment and supplies; clean rooms; set up beds; wash, sterilize, and stock supplies.
- Perform patient care activities for elderly patients.
- Understand Medicare regulations; track charges for patients.
- Assist in the planning of activities for nursing home residents.
- Be a leader and mentor to junior assistants.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
