Pasta Vita is hiring a talented Retail Sales Associate to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving retail sales through exceptional customer service, including; cashiering, maintaining the store appearance, assisting all customers while working along-side the management team.

Additional Responsibilities

• Ensures the guest experience meets all established standards and results in routine visits; ensures that customers are greeted, served, and responded to in a timely manner, including answering the phone in a timely and polite manner
• Sells products while following all cash register procedures, including answering customers’ questions on products while politely offering suggestive selling
• Maintains a general knowledge of products being sold
• Ensures that the property is kept clean and well maintained at all times, and restocks the cash register area with supplies (paper bags, resister tapes, pens, staplers, scotch tape, etc…)
• Resolves and Refers all customer concerns to the manager.

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Six (6) months of cashiering experience
• Ability to handle difficult situations and individuals
• Ability to multi task
• Ability to read, interpret, and explain information to guests
• Demonstrated organizational skills and excellent interpersonal skills
• Basic math and computer skills
• Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time
