RN - Endoscopy

Contract Position: 5/22/2023 - 8/19/2023

Shift: Various. Based on the surgical schedule. Mostly work Tuesday and Wednesday around 7:30 AM to sometimes 4PM to 6PM. Thursday and Friday we typically work in the afternoon from 1100 up until 6PM. Mondays we either have no cases or work in the afternoon. Days: Monday through Friday anywhere from 7:30AM to 5PM. On call: Rotation with one other RN .

Fulfills the needs of the patients, families and community by performing a variety of patient care functions and tasks in accordance with his/her licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements

* Delivers care to patients in a competent, capable, caring and efficient manner.

* Applies knowledge of growth and development over the life span necessary to provide age appropriate care.

* Demonstrates the ability to obtain information and interpret information in terms of the patient s needs

* Demonstrates an understanding of the range of treatment needed by these patients

* Makes initial assessment, and determines appropriate nursing needs of assigned patients, as evidence by appropriate documentation

* Performs initial and ongoing assessment on all assigned patients, including a review of systems, as evidence by appropriate documentation

* Completes admission assessment in time frame established, according to policy and procedures 3 years plus of endo experience is required.

Experience with conscious sedation for Pain Clinic required

Skills:

NIHSS, ACLS - Required

BLS - Required

BSN - Highly desired

Endo Experience - Required

3 Years Primary Source On-Line Verification - Required

RN License - Required

RN Travel Experience - Required: 1 Years

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program – Required

• BSN - Highly desire

Experience:

• Nursing (Endo): 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Certification (Preferred)
• RN (Preferred)
