This is an RN position for a Critical Access hospital for the responsibilities of Infection Control Nurse and Employee Health Nurse. Responsibilities include maintaining policies, monitoring for infection control compliance, working with medical staff regarding antibiotic stewardship, training new employees in infection control standards, maintaining health records for employees of the facilities, maintaining policies and care for employees with potential infections such as COVID or needlesticks. Works 4-5 days per week with flexible schedule.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Education/Experience. Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice, temporary RN license in state of practice, or compact RN licensure for current state of practice. Experience in Case management or infection control helpful but not a requirement. Willing to attain certifications for Infection Control Standards.
• Technical skills: Must be proficient in computer and telephone skills. Must have excellent communication and customer service skills
