BioTrans LLC is a global logistics provider specializing in cold chain transportation, technology and infrastructure for the life sciences industry.

Shift: 35-40 hours with early morning start times as early as 2:00 am

Sunday: Receive sort for next day routes.
Monday: Delivery College Station, Austin, San Antonio to overnight in Houston
Tuesday: Delivery Galveston and return to Hub
Wednesday: Transfers to Houston & Galveston
Thursday : Potential Ad Hoc jobs

BioTrans LLC is a global logistics provider specializing in cold chain transportation, technology and infrastructure for the life sciences industry.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Safely operate, load, unload and deliver freight utilizing a box truck or cargo van's
• Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules which requires attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety
• Ability to navigate around the city and surrounding areas using GPS and familiar with scanning devices
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report any problems or issues to dispatch/ managers
• Possible Warehouse duties - Clean, wash and sanitize truck's

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21+ years of Age
• Covid-19 Vaccination Required
• Current driver's license and acceptable driving record (2 or fewer moving violations in the past 3 years and no DWI/DUI in the past 5 years for insurance purposes).
• Must successfully complete background check and drug screen
• Experience driving cargo vans and box truck's
• Be a quick learner, detail-oriented, dependable, have a positive attitude
• Exceptional customer and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate effectively and professionally with tact and diplomacy
• Basic computer, tablet and/or smartphone skills, GPS and familiar with scanning devices
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work as needed preferred
• Able to lift, bend, stoop, twist, move, push and pull up to 40 pounds, and prolonged sitting while driving
• Climb in and out of cargo vans/box trucks repeatedly with no difficulties

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour
