RUI Fit Coach - Personal Trainer Job at The Jane at Tarboro
Retirement Unlimited, Inc. program, RUI FIT, seeks an experienced and energetic full or part-time Certified Personal Trainer to join our team at The Jane at Tarboro.
The RUI FIT Personal Trainer is responsible for conducting individualized consultations, helping residents and staff develop fitness and nutrition goals, leading group exercise classes, and for bringing inspiring energy to the residents and staff in their community to encourage healthy lifestyle choices.
- Conducts individualized consultations and assessments.
- Helps residents and staff develop short- and long-term health and fitness goals.
- Educates residents, staff, and families about available personal training packages.
- Analyzes resident and staff behavior and abilities.
- Develops and implements individualized fitness plans for residents and staff including physical fitness, nutrition, and wellness.
- Trains residents and staff according to individualized fitness plans.
- Provides education and guidance on nutrition, health, and lifestyle choices.
- Assists residents and staff with work outs.
- Engages with other community leaders (e.g., Life Enrichment Coordinator, Culinary team, RUI Fit Coach) to best serve the needs of each resident.
- Collaborates with culinary team and RUI Fit Coach to incorporate RUI FIT menu items.
Schedule:
8-hour shift- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
License/Certification
- AED Certification (Preferred)
REQUIREMENTS:
ISSA, NASM, or NCSF Personal Training certification required.- Senior Fitness Certification preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certified.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Students encouraged to apply.
