We are looking for an upbeat, motivated person to join our team with one year of retail or customer service experience. Both part-time and full-time positions are available. We are an independently owned women's clothing and gift boutique located on a busy street in Venice, CA.
Retail Sales Associate Job Description
A Retail Sales Associate is responsible for all sales activities and sales associate job duties, from greeting customers, answering questions, offering assistance and suggesting items. Individual responsibilities as a Retail Sales Associate may include customer service and keeping the selling floor stocked with merchandise, assisting in display of merchandise or organizing the selling floor and stock areas.
Maintains a professional attitude with sincerity and enthusiasm reflecting the store’s commitment to our customers.
Requirements:
- Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers, peers and management
- Telephone etiquette
- Ability to multi-task, while being attentive to customers.
- Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative independent of direct supervision
- Customer service focus
- Enthusiastic, friendly and energetic with a genuine love of clothing and accessories.
- Available to work at least one weekend shift.
