Industries include furniture, construction, glass, industrial and others. Their software is used to run the business, from product configuration, to manufacturing, to accounting.

The Business Development Representative is an integral part of the Sales Organization, because pipeline development is essential to the company’s success. Responsibilities:

Tap the Industry: Proactively seek out and make connections with industry executives, target account personas, and other new business opportunities through LinkedIn, email and by phone.

Build Trusting Relationships: Keep in contact with supply chain and IT executives with multiple personalized touches, commenting on industry trends, current vendor pain points, company news and more.

Mingle with and Pitch to Big Business: Attend multiple trade shows and company-led events to generate awareness and build demand from some of the largest retailers, manufacturers and third-party logistics companies in the world.

Investigate & Qualify, Qualify, Qualify: Uncover pain points and customer needs, and diligently follow-up on all inquiries from marketing campaigns and personal reach-outs. Qualify those opportunities for sales by identifying BANT – Budget, Authority, Need, & Timing.

Chronicle the Progress & Help Seal the Deal: Document leads, contacts, accounts and opportunity progress in FC’s CRM instance and give sales visibility into both pipeline and opportunity need-to-knows.

Qualifications

  • College degree preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered
  • Ideally 1-2 years of experience in lead generation or technology solutions sales
  • Experience building you own customer base
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Salesforce.com, Outreach, ZoomInfo, Vidyard and Sendoso experience preferred
  • Ability to travel approximately 10%

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 per year
