Our company has become one of the fastest growing semi-custom home builders in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex within the last few years. We are locally owned and privately held and are looking for an energetic and self-motivated professional to join our team as the Director of Sales.

Job Requirements:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook
  • Able to maintain and run manual reports for various data
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Available to work Friday thru Tuesday in communities throughout the DFW Metroplex
  • Previous experience using a Customer Relationship Management software program is required
  • Previous experience in new home sales is required and experience managing multiple New Home Sales Consultants in multiple locations is preferred.

Job Duties:

  • Coach & mentor a successful team of New Home Sales Consultants and Assistants to ensure a professional environment in the Sales Offices at all times, to include hiring & training of new staff.
  • Ensure communities are representing our company in the best possible manner at all times.
  • Implement and Achieve Sales Goals and collaborate on plans to improve underperforming communities once a need is identified.
  • Assist and guide New Home Sales Consultants with sales techniques to achieve maximum sales and satisfied homeowners through continuous training and learning. Review and refresh basic and advanced sales techniques as needed.
  • Responsible for coordinating regular training programs, refreshing learning skills and implementing improvement programs when necessary. This includes but is not limited to mystery shops, formal training programs, informal training programs and on the job training.
  • Work with New Home Sales Consultants on subdivision management, company expectations and continually monitor all model homes, inventory homes, community signage, and overall community appearance.
  • Develop & maintain relationships with Realtors and Realtor groups in local areas as well as realtors who specialize in relocation to the DFW area. Ensure New Home Sales Consultants are properly cultivating these relationships.
  • Evaluate and provide recommendations to the Marketing Director concerning community signage. Assist with input regarding advertising and promotional needs per community and attend all events for communities.
  • Monitor market trends and competition to ensure the ability to compete in all markets. Complete competition studies on a quarterly base and make suggestions that will ensure the correct product in the correct markets.
  • Compile & submit weekly traffic and sales reports that highlight individual community successes and challenges. Schedule follow up meetings with New Home Sales Consultants that are not on target to meet their monthly goals and ensure a corrective action plan is in place.
  • Train New Community Sales Managers and ensure they are equipped with all the tools to be successful in their communities.
  • Serve as an advisor during company leadership meetings on challenges related to home starts and closings.

Extremely competitive commission-based compensation package ($150k + for successful employees) 401K and Benefits after 90 days of employment.
