JOB OVERVIEW
We are looking for a Business Reporting Analyst to join the Sales Operations team within Trustmark Voluntary Benefits. This dynamic role is primarily responsible for sales reporting, analysis, and contingent producer compensation. This position will work closely with the sales, operations, and underwriting areas to gather client and producer information to help assess the effectiveness of our business.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Assist with Sales Reporting-Persistency Bonuses, Projected Premium Reports, and Producer Reports
- Produce standard and custom client and broker level reports, utilizing Salesforce, Microsoft Excel, Insights, and Word
- Utilize various internal and external data sources to produce reports, and perform custom data mining to identify information related to case participation, sales trends, and various financial information.
- Formulate key findings and recommendations to management based on data analysis.
- Maintaining Sales Compensation contracts and special case agreements
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree, or two or more years of experience in reporting or data management.
- Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to examine data for meaningful relationships.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Strong technical skills including the ability to merge data from various sources, summarize data, translate data into a user-friendly report, run statistical testing on the data to determine significance and relationships within the data, and data mine for necessary drill-down metrics.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including advance use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to effectively communicate in verbal and written formats, including strong presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
- Well organized to effectively plan and follow-through with any task assigned.
- Sound judgment and ability make decisions based on knowledge and previous experience.
