The Role
Ideally located in Michigan, you will be accountable for direct business-to-business sales in a dynamic, challenging fast-paced industry. The primary focus for this role is on the sale of Algoma’s world class flat-rolled products to a diverse customer base. Your understanding of the industry and competitive factors will enable you to develop and maintain an optimum mix of customers in need of product solutions. You will play a key role in forecasting and directing production requirements while ensuring that sales targets and performance objectives are met.
Core Competencies and Skills Required
- Post-secondary education in a related field of study (e.g. Sciences, Engineering, Business)
- Demonstrated metal sales experience preferred.
- Strong relationship-building, problem-solving, presentation and analytical skills that will enable you to professionally interpret and respond to customer requirements.
- Must be prepared and willing to travel.
