School Bus Driver/Security Guard Job at Santa Fe Christian Schools
Santa Fe Christian Schools has an exciting full-time opportunity for an individual interested in joining our team.
Serving as a School Bus Driver and Security Guard, this individual will transport students to and from school, ensuring their safety, and work with our security team monitoring campus gates and checking-in visitors. The ideal candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team, have excellent communication skills, and have the desire to work with students and the public.

- Model a growing and vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ
- Maintains active participation in an evangelical church
Responsibilities:
- Transport students to and from school in a safe and timely manner
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the school bus to ensure it is in good working condition
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving the school bus
- Maintain a clean and orderly school bus, both inside and out
- Assist students with getting on and off the school bus, and ensure they are seated and wearing seat belts
- Serve as a security guard on campus, monitoring entrances and exits and ensuring the safety of students, staff, and visitors
- Respond to emergencies and incidents on campus, and report them to the appropriate authorities
- Collaborate with school administrators and staff to maintain a safe and secure learning environment
Qualifications:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a passenger endorsement or willingness to participate in training
- A High school diploma, some college preferred
- Excellent driving and safety record
- Ability to handle emergencies calmly and effectively
- A valid Guard Card is a plus
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical
Driver training is available for individuals interested who do not already hold the required driver certifications.
