Blazerworks is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) to join our team for the upcoming school year in New Caney, TX. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' academic, social, and emotional development.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify students' educational needs
- Collaborate with school teams to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Provide counseling and behavior support to students
- Conduct Manifestation Determination Reviews (MDRs) as required
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' success
Qualifications:
- Active certification as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) in Texas
- Experience working in a school setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools and techniques used in evaluating students' academic and emotional functioning
- Ability to provide counseling and behavior support to students
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
