A key member in the Bioscience & Bioengineering group at CFD Research Corp will be able to:

• Main job duty is to conduct lab works on research projects supported by DoD, NIH or NASA under the guidance of project principal investigators.
• Contribute to scientific projects, publications and proposals
• Be able to work tasks are highly interdisciplinary in nature
• Ideal candidates are continuous and fast learners, who are always learning, easily adaptive, highly flexible, and willing to develop a wide range of skill sets
• Research engineers/scientists should apply if they want to create innovations and work in a collegial, fun, and respectful environment.

Basic Qualifications:

• Candidate must be a US Citizen
• BS, MS (preferred), Physical or Life Sciences or Technology, any related degree
• The education and experience level of candidate is flexible - junior or senior level
• Hands-on working experience on experiments
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and as a team

• Molecular biology
• Microbiology
• Cell culture
• Protein expression
• QPCR, microfluidics
• Prior Research Experience preferred
