As a Step Down or Telemetry Registered Nurse at Crozer, you willprovide high-quality direct and indirect patient-centered care by coordinating patient care, and working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team, patients, and families. You must respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Your day can vary from patient assessments of adults recovering from cardio surgery or other cardiac problems, identifying physiologic changes, physical assessments and providing appropriate nursing care.

• Identifies stages of human growth and development and uses this information to provide age appropriate care to the patient population served

• Identifies the physiologic changes induced by cardio-thoracic surgery

• Identifies the pathophysiology of cardiovascular disease

• Recognizes and reports suspected cases of child/elder abuse

Requirements

• BSN preferred

• Current PA RN License

• ACLS certification

• 1 year of clinical nursing experience
