Seasonal Security Officer ( Seasonal ) - Phoenix, AZ - $18.00/hr

Schedule: Part Time/Temporary, Seasonal, schedules can be flexible.

Compensation: $18.00-$20.00

Job Summary:

The Seasonal Unarmed Security Officer position would be covering additional hours for our clients at various sites in the Phoenix, AZ area. Don’t worry we’ll find you steady work. After the seasonal work is complete, you’ll have the ability to choose which long-term full-time account you’d like to work at!

As a Seasonal Unarmed Security Officer, you will be entrusted with deterring, detecting and reporting any illegal activity. While carrying out your duties as a Seasonal Unarmed Security Officer, you will exercise tact and sound judgement in assessing various situations while bringing about swift resolutions. We are looking for Weekends, Weekdays, Nights, and scheduling is flexible depending on your availability .

Essential Functions:

• Aim to provide exceptional customer service with a positive attitude for you come into contact with.
• Document any client policy infractions which may be a threat to the property, client, or employees at the site.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of post orders, standard operation procedures, and client directives.
• Respond to all emergencies and alarms promptly, assisting emergency services as needed.
• Proactively seek out opportunities to serve and add value-added services to our clients.
• Conduct your assigned duties with integrity to make ethical judgement decisions.
• Observe, report, and document any suspicious activities or criminal acts immediately.
• Conduct comprehensive foot patrols around the site in a varied nature, to maintain a constant security presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• Valid Unarmed Guard Card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma/G.E.D. or equivalent education.
• Comfortable and proficient operating a computer and Microsoft Office applications.
• Must be in a physical condition to perform regular or emergency duties that require moderate to arduous physical exertion, such as:
  • Standing, sitting, or walking for an entire shift
  • Climbing stairs and ladders
  • Lifting or carrying objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Running short distances
• Capable of exercising sound judgment, following instructions, and assimilating necessary specialized training.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
