Our Security Guards are responsible for safeguarding property assets and ensuring the environment is safe and secure. Duties include completing reports, inspects buildings and equipment while securing all access points. Performs additional job related duties as assigned by the site manager.

Starting wage is $22 - $24 Hr.

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required

Experience & Requirements:

• Prior security experience is preferred but not required
• Able to learn and follow detailed security manual and procedures
• Excellent communication skills
• Basic report-writing skills required
• No traffic or accidents in last 3 years

Additional Requirements:

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Must be able to work all scheduled shifts to include day, swing, graveyard and holidays

Responsibilities:

Maintains safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel.

• Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Maintains environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls.
• Maintains organization’s stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.
• Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
